Donald J Zehner, Jr. CPA Managing Partner djzehner@zmacpa.com Don was born in Winamac and raised in Monetery, Indiana.  He graduated from Culver Community High School in 1976.  Zehner attended Saint Joseph's College of Indiana earning Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Bachelor of Arts in Economic.  Don started as an intern for Smith, Reed & Company in Lafayette, Indiana.  On June 2, 1980 he accepted a full time position with the same company.  In May of 1982, Zehner passed the Uniform CPA exam and was promoted to Senior Staff Accountant.  He was licenesed in 1983 to Practice as a CPA in Indiana.  That same year he was appointed to Indiana CPA Society ICPAS Firm Day Committe. The following year appointed to Indiana CPA Society Small Business Technology Committe.  May of 1985 Don was promoted to Manager.  During this year and for the next three, appointed to The American Institute of CPA's Small Business Computer Committee.  He was the co-author through the AICPA several guides to Microcomputer Software Installation for Accountants.  In 1986, he transfered to the Logansport office of Smith Thompson Wihebrink CPA's (sucessor firm of Smith, Reed & Company).  The year of 1989 plus an additional ten years he was the managing shareholder of the sucessor firm Wihebrink & Zehner, CPA's PC.  Through all those years Don has had the loving support of his wife Pamela McCune.  Married in August of 1980, they are the proud parents of six children.  Benjamin M, Arin S. Shaver, Jordan A, Lauren A, Peyton L and D. Bryan B Zehner.  Don and Pam also have one grandson, Mason Shaver.  Outside of accounting he enjoys family activities and computer technology especially with non-traditional programs that could be used in business.
Amy L Myers, CPA Senior Associate almyers@zmacpa.com Amy is a graduate of LogansportHigh School and ButlerUniversity where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She is an Indiana licensed Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Indiana CPA Society. Amy entered public accounting in January 1999 and joined Zehner, Maloy & Associates in December 2003. She resides in Avon and enjoys scrapbooking, watching baseball and spending time with family.
Cecilia G Pineda Associate cgpineda@zmacpa.com Cecilia is a 2007 graduate of Logansport High School.  She is currently attending Indiana Univesity of Kokomo to pursue a degree in accounting.  Pineda lives in Logansport and joined our firm in January of 2009.
Cindy L Birnell Office Administrator  clbirnell@zmacpa.com Cindy graduated from Lewis Cass High School in 1997.  She has been involved with our firm since 1990.  Birnell did all the little tasks from simple computer work to taking out the trash. She has worked in the Walton office.   Where greeting clients, organizing the files and processing returns were on her task list.  The 2003 year, Birnell was moved to the Kokomo office for the same position as Walton.  The tax season 2004, she moved into more of a preparer position and was currently managing the office.  In the summer of  2004, Cindy accepted a full time position in the Logansport office.  She was preparing simple returns, payroll and an assistant to the technology leader.  February  2008, Birnell was moved to the Plymouth office on a permnament basis.  She accepted the office manager position and in the fall was promoted to office administrator.  Cindy Resides in Plymouth.  Life outside the accounting walls consiste of spending time with family and friends, coaching volleyball and playing softball.  Birnell has coached Central Indiana Volleyball Club since 1998. Her love for volleyball landed the JV position at Caston 2006 - 2008.  She plays softball in Lafayette and Kokomo.  Cindy was on the softball team that won State titles and went to Nationals back to back years.
David B Hinkle Senior Associate  dbhinkle@zmacpa.com Dave is a graduate of Indiana University of Bloomington with a degree in Accounting.  He had a practice in Walton and merged with our firm in 2004.  Dave lives in Gaston, Indiana with his wife Marylou. He owns an ice cream shop in Muncie.  Hinkle enjoys golf, hunting and fishing.
Jason M Potthoff Senior Associate  jmpotthoff@zmacpa.com  Jason is a graduate of Culver Community High School.  He attended Saint Joseph's College in Renssaleaer, Indiana.  Potthoff earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.  He joined the firm in 1996 and is a Senior Associate.  He resides in Winamac with his beautiful wife Monica and their two sons Dalton & Justin.  When he is not focusing on accounting he keeps busy with his Lawn Care & Landscaping business.  Jason enjoys hunting and playing poker.
Justin H Kuhn Office Manager  jhkuhn@zmacpa.com Justin was born and raised in Plymouth, Indiana.  He is a graduate of Valparaiso University.  Kuhn has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Bachelors of Science in Finance.  Justin accepted a position with our firm in July 2007.  He married Heather in September of 2007.  Justin's interest are computers and Sci-fi.
Marc P Maloy Senior Associate mpmaloy@zmacpa.com Marc is a graduate of Logansport High School.  He attend Ball State University and earned a degree in Business Administration.  Maloy has worked with our firm since high school when his father Michael would bring him into the office.  Marc accepted a full time position in 2004.  He is a member of the Indiana CPA Society.  Marc enjoys spending time with his wife Tiffiny and their two children.  His other activities include sports, playing poker, watching movies and restoring his '59 Harley Chopper with help from friends and family.
Ryan P Muller Senior Associate  rpmuller@zmacpa.com Ryan is a graduate of Logansport High School.  He graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a minor in Finance.  In 2004, he joined our firm full time.  He is part of the technology team at ZMA.
Tiffiny A Maloy Administrator  tamaloy@zmacpa.com Tiffiny is a 1992 graduate of Logansport High School.  In 1990, she was an intern in our office.  After high school she attended International Busienss College and received a degree in Travel & Hospitality.  She worked as a travel agent in Muncie for four years. In 1998, she moved back to Logansport and began her career at ZMA.  Tiffiny is happily married to Marc and live in Logansport with their two children. She loves spending time with her family and reading.
Tina L Nicoll Document Coordinator  tlnicoll@zmacpa.com Tina graduated from Logansport High School.  She joined our firm in 2001.  Nicoll enjoys spending time with her family.
Zina L Birnell Senior Manager zlbirnell@zmacpa.com Zina is a 1987 graduate of Lewis Cass High School.  She attended International Business College with an associates degree in Secretarial Science.  Her career began at ZMA in 1990.  She is a member of the City of Logansport IT Committee since 2002.  In her free time, she officiates volleyball and has been coaching Central Indiana Volleyball Club since 1998.  She has also coached softball and enjoys her weekends at the ball park.  Her favorite professional teams are Colts and Cubs.  Zina treasures her time with family and friends.
